An e-mail list has been established by the Division of Antiviral Drug Products (Center for Drug Evaluation and Research) and the Office of Special Health Issues (Office of the Commissioner) of the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to provide updates on safety and regulatory issues related to HIV/AIDS products.

The purpose of this e-mail list is to give patients, industry, academia, other government agencies and other interested parties one source for FDA HIV/AIDS related information. Information such as product approvals, significant labeling changes, safety warnings, notices of upcoming public meetings and alerts to proposed regulatory guidance's for comment will be distributed through this e-mail list.

Information will be distributed through this e-mail list as it becomes available, rather than on a regularly scheduled basis.

The Association of State and Territorial Health Officials (ASHTO) HIV/AIDS Update Newsletter, an electronic newsletter produced by the ASTHO AIDS project to analyze and report on national, state, and local trends in HIV/AIDS legislation and policy. "On the Horizon" - an electronic news capsule from the Horizons Program.

Horizons http://www.popcouncil.org/horizons/horizons.html is a global
operations research project designed to:
1) Identify and test potential strategies to improve HIV/AIDS prevention,
care, and support programs and service delivery.
2)Disseminate best practices and utilize findings with a view toward
replication and scaling up of successful interventions.

Horizons is implemented by the Population Council in partnership with the
International Center for Research on Women, the International HIV/AIDS
Alliance, the Program for Appropriate Technology in Health, Tulane
University, and the University of Alabama at Birmingham.

Aidspan has launched Global Fund Observer (GFO), a two-pronged venture consisting of an e-mail-based newsletter and a related discussion forum, which will serve as an independent source for news, analysis and commentary pertaining to the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria (the Fund). Both the newsletter and forum are available to subscribers at no charge. Global Fund Observer will take over the role of reporting on the Fund from Break-The-Silence (BTS).
